3.5 of 5 stars
Unfriended is a cyber horror movie that hits on some of the events of today. A group of friends get on Skype only to see a blank person on with the, After several tries, they can't get rid of it. They realize it's the account of their friend Laura who killed herself the previous year........one year ago that day. The killer warns them not to sign off again, or they die. They do everything they can to screw with their heads........and so it begins.
The movie is scary in the fact it plays on modern conveniences and issues of today and creates this horror movie about it. Laura killed herself because of cyber-bullying, a HUGE issue of today. The killer tracks them through their computers, hacking them so 'they' can work the computers to 'their' leisure.

Pixels

Rated PG-13
Genre: Action/ Comedy/ Sci-Fi
Run Time: 1 hour 06 minutes
Release: July 2015

Movie summary from IMDb
When aliens misinterpret video feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war, they attack the Earth in the form of the video games.

My rating 4 of 5 stars.
I'm not an Adam Sandler fan, but I'm a gamer through and through so I had to try Pixels. Pixels is a great comedy for the family, be it Adam Sandler fans, Gamer fans or fans of Comedies. The Government falls under attack when aliens intercepted the classic video games and took them as a declaration of war, They end up having to hire three gamers (Adam Sandler, Peter Dinklage, and Josh Gad) to save the world. It's an interesting take on the classic video games such as Pac-Man and Donkey Kong. Gamers would enjoy this movie as a nod to the Classics.

The Visit

Rated PG-13
Genre: Horror, Thriller
Run Time: 1 hour 34 minutes
Release: September 2015

Movie Summary from IMDb
Two siblings become incredibly frightened by their grandparents disturbing behavior, while visiting them on vacation.

I ranked this movie 4 of 5 stars
The Visit is a movie about a brother (Ed Oxenbould) and sister (Olivia DeJonge) that go to meet their Grandparents for the first time. Their mother (Kathryn Hahn) had a falling out with her parents as a teen and they are reaching out to meet their Grandkids. While they go to visit, they encourage their mother to go on a trip as well. The siblings plan to document their visit in video to share later.

The setting is in a small town, and everyone has great things to say about the Grandparents. But the comments about the Grandparents are reflecting in the very people they see. A bedtime of 9:30 PM is implemented from the start, that is when they really start to notice things are ..... odd.......

M. Night Shyamalan outdid himself with the twists in this movie. It seems odd that parents that want to make amends with their daughter, won't talk about her. Or what about the ban from the basement? And what is the obsession with having the girl climb in the over to clean it? And why are they always absent when the kids Skype their Mother?

The Visit keeps you enthralled and makes you second guess what you expect in a Horror movie. Definitely a must see movie!

What to expect:
I will use the 5 star ranking, 1 star the worst and 5 the best.

I will do my best to avoid spoilers.
